Etude is looking for an experienced forklift operator to join our team for Harvest.

About Etude Wines

Located in the beautiful Carneros region of the Napa Valley, Etude Wines is dedicated to mastering the craft of winegrowing. Etude specializes in Estate grown Carneros Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as well as Pinot Noir from other appellations which include Sta. Rita Hills, Sonoma Coast and Yamhill-Carlton in Oregon. Etude also produces Cabernet Sauvignon from iconic vineyards in the Napa Valley.


About the Role

This is a great opportunity for an individual to gain in-depth, hands-on experience in winery production practices. The individual must be: motivated with a strong desire to learn and perform tasks necessary to craft ultra-premium wines, able to work efficiently on a high energy team, willing to work extended harvest hours, able to have fun, and seek quality results.

Includes opportunities for additional harvest cellar work although the focus of this role will be on winery forklift operations including barrel movements/management, case goods movements and grape bin loading/unloading/dumping. Please inquire for more information.


Position starts: August through November, season dependent.

Qualifications

* Forklift experience is a requirement. Harvest/Winery experience is a plus.
* Education - High School education of higher and proficiency with basic mathematics required.
* Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and in a dynamic setting.
* Good communication skills.
* Positive attitude and ability to perform as a member of a small and diverse winery team.
* Motivated with a good drive and work ethic.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $20 to $25 per hour. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of California, specifically the Napa area. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
