Bordeaux will become more and more environmentally friendly

 All French wine regions today have some sort of environmental plan. In Bordeaux 45 % of the surface of vine has a label of some sort for sustainable viticulture. The aim is to quickly reach 100 %. The main goals are to reduce the use of pesticides, reduce waste and increase recycling, reduce energy consumption, reduce carbon emissions, reduce water use, and have better control of wastewater and to protect local biodiversity.
