About the Role

The Tasting Room Support Associate is s a key operational role in ensuring the tasting room runs efficiently, smoothly, and in alignment with the winery's hospitality standards. This position supports the guest-facing team by preparing spaces, restocking products, maintaining cleanliness, organizing supplies, and assisting with behind-the-scenes logistics. By providing reliable operational support, the Tasting Room Support Associate enables the hospitality team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain a polished, professional tasting environment.

Key Responsibilities

•  Prepare tasting spaces for daily service, including setup of glassware, water stations, menus, and supplies

•  Maintain clean and organized work areas (bars, tables, guest spaces, polishing stations, restrooms, stock rooms)

•  Restock wines, merchandise, glassware, and guest supplies throughout the day

•  Assist with back-of-house support such as polishing glassware, dishwashing, and replenishing tools/equipment

•  Ensure proper storage, organization, and rotation of product (wine, merchandise, culinary elements if applicable)

•  Support hospitality team with running bottles, carrying out purchases, and packaging wine orders

•  Assist with trash, recycling, and bussing to ensure a tidy and welcoming guest environment

•  Provide support during events, club gatherings, and VIP experiences with setup, service flow, and breakdown

•  Follow all safety, sanitation, and compliance procedures

•  Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service

About you

•  Strong work ethic with the ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks

•  Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent physical tasks

•  Professional, positive, and team-oriented demeanor

•  Reliable, punctual, and willing to support weekends, holidays, and events

•  Strong attention to cleanliness, detail, and presentation standards

•  Basic knowledge of or interest in wine and hospitality (training provided)

•  Must be 21+ years old

Base pay: Hourly rate ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, based on experience, skills, role scope, location, and business needs.
Incentive pay: Eligible to participate in the Direct-to-Consumer Sales Incentive Plan (DSIP), offering variable compensation based on site performance. Incentive pay is not guaranteed.
Estimated on-target earnings: $19.57 to $24.33 per hour, based on base pay plus target DSIP at target performance (where applicable). Actual earnings vary based on site performance, hours worked, and role classification.
Tips: Tips are paid by customers and vary by location, shift, and customer volume. Tips are not guaranteed. Based on historical experience in some locations/shifts, tips have at times added approximately 25% above base pay for some employees.
