About the Role

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in a hybrid role based in Napa. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all U.S. and Canada-based employees. You'll partner closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure payroll systems, controls, and processes are operating effectively. This is a detail-oriented role with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement, refine processes, and strengthen payroll accuracy and compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities
* Gather and validate employee time and attendance data
* Process payroll, including wages, overtime, deductions, and bonuses
* Maintain accurate payroll records and audit data for accuracy
* Respond to employee and manager payroll inquiries via ServiceNow
* Execute payroll payments via electronic transfer or paycheck
* Partner with payroll vendors (e.g., ADP) to resolve issues and tax inquiries
* Review and update SOPs and support process improvements
* Ensure payroll controls are in place and functioning effectively
* Escalate payroll issues as needed and support resolution
* Prepare payroll-related reports for leadership and finance

About you
* You have 3+ years of experience in payroll or a similar role
* You bring strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* You understand payroll regulations and compliance requirements
* You are confident working with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, UKG/Kronos) and Excel
* You communicate clearly with employees, managers, and cross-functional partners
* You are comfortable managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
* You are fluent in English and Spanish
* You take pride in accuracy and continuous improvement

The anticipated base compensation for this position is $44.23 - $50.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, education, geographic location, internal equity, and market considerations. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation, bonuses, commissions, and/or a comprehensive benefits package, as applicable. The compensation range listed reflects a good faith estimate of the hiring range for this position at the time of posting.
