About Sterling Vineyards



Internationally known, Sterling Vineyards is one of the most visited wineries in Napa Valley. Modeled after a Greek monastery, the winery sits 300 feet above the valley floor where visitors take an aerial tram to access the top-quality Bordeaux varietals and majestic 360-degree views of Napa Valley. Closed in September 2020 following the Glass Fire that affected much of the area, Sterling reopened to guests in October 2023 complete with a new gondola system, re-imagined visitor spaces and a fresh take on Napa Valley hospitality.

About the role

This position supports our busy tasting room by moving glassware and dishes to and from the kitchen in the presence of guests; as well as washing, polishing dishes and glasses, carrying multiple plates and glassware. Weekends and Holidays will be required.

Key Responsibilities
* Operates a commercial dishwasher to clean and sanitize glassware and dishes
* Hand rinses and scrubs dishes
* Follow all food safety and sanitation practices
* Clears, cleans, and resets tables promptly
* Maintains proper table alignment and setup
* Cleans all dishes in a timely and organized manner
* Restocks glassware in all areas
* Inspect glassware and dishware for smudges, chips or stains
* Follow proper closing procedures to keep clean and organized work areas
* Be punctual and keep good attendance
* Familiar with and abides with all Treasury's policies procedures and systems
* Professional on all levels while clocked in or on company premises
* Comes to work with positive attitude and outlook on the day

About you
* You can do constant standing and walking
* You can do occasional stooping and kneeling
* You can do pushing, pulling and lifting up to 40 pounds
* You can do constant reaching, turning while performing precision work in the kitchen area
* You can do constant ascending and descending of stairs and ramps
* You can speak and effectively communicate in English, both orally and written communication
* You are self-motivated, highly organized, and require minimal day-to-day direction
* You are able to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays
* You have a clean professional appearance and able to represent TWE internally and externally
* You are able travel on occasion to other company locations
* You are at least 21 years of age

Pay Transparency Disclosure:

Base pay: Hourly rate ranges from $16.90 to $19.25 per hour, based on experience, skills, role scope, location, and business needs.
Incentive pay: Eligible to participate in the Direct-to-Consumer Sales Incentive Plan (DSIP), offering variable compensation based on site performance. Incentive pay is not guaranteed.

Estimated on-target earnings: $18.50 to $21 per hour, based on base pay plus target DSIP at target performance (where applicable). Actual earnings vary based on site performance, hours worked, and role classification.
Tips: This role is eligible for tips. Tips are paid by the customer and vary by location, shift, and customer volume. Tips are not guaranteed.
