About the Role

The Tasting Room Concierge serves as the first point of contact, creating a warm, polished welcome for all guests. This role manages reservations, guest flow, and seating to ensure a seamless and elevated tasting experience. By anticipating guest needs and coordinating with the service team, the Concierge helps set the tone for exceptional hospitality and memorable visits.

Key Responsibilities

•  Create a warm and welcoming first impression by greeting guests and setting the tone for a luxury hospitality experience.

•  Manage reservation systems, waitlists, and guest flow to optimize seating and minimize wait times.

•  Coordinate guest seating and transitions between experiences to ensure seamless and attentive service.

•  Maintain strong knowledge of tasting room offerings to effectively communicate experiences, pricing, and availability.

•  Manage high-volume traffic periods while maintaining organization, composure, and a guest(1)focused approach.

•  Coordinate closely with tasting room associates and leadership to align on guest needs and service priorities.

•  Build relationships with guests to support personalized experiences and encourage repeat visits.

•  Address guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with professionalism, urgency, and sound judgement.

•  Coordinate daily operational logistics, including opening and closing procedures and host stand organization.

•  Drive positive guest outcomes by supporting efficient operations and an elevated, memorable experience.

About you

•  Must be at least 21 years old

•  Strong customer service and hospitality mindset

•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences

•  Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond quickly, calmly, and professionally

•  Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

•  Problem-solving skills with a composed, solution-focused approach under pressure

•  Proficiency with reservation systems, point-of-sale (POS) platforms, or similar hospitality software

•  Team-oriented working style with strong collaboration skills across departments

•  Professional demeanor with strong presentation skills and brand representation awareness

Physical Demands This role requires frequent standing and walking for extended periods, as well as bending, reaching, and lifting or carrying wine cases, glassware, or supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees may perform repetitive tasks such as pouring, restocking, and cleaning throughout the day. Occasional use of ladders or step stools may be required.

Environmental Conditions Work is primarily performed in a tasting room, hospitality, or event setting, where exposure to fluctuating indoor and outdoor temperatures, crowds, and noise levels may occur. The role may require working a variable schedule, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and some evenings, with longer or irregular hours during peak seasons and special events. Employees may occasionally work outdoors during events or at offsite locations. Occasional travel may be required.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: Hourly rate ranges from $21.15 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, role scope, location and business needs. Incentive Pay: Eligible to participate in the Direct-to-Consumer Sales Incentive Plan (DISP), offering variable compensations based on site performance (where applicable). Actual earnings vary based on site performance, hours worked, and role classification.
