About the Role

As the Luxury Experiences Hospitality Manager at our Hilltop Tasting Room, you will lead a high‑performing hospitality team delivering refined, elevated guest experiences in one of the property's most distinctive settings. This role focuses on curating and executing premium, immersive experiences in an elevated space that showcasing exceptional service, storytelling, and thoughtfully paired food and wine and culinary‑driven offerings.

You will inspire, coach, and develop a team of Hospitality Associates to deliver personalized, luxury‑level service while driving key direct‑to‑consumer results. This front‑line leadership role oversees Sterling's most elevated tasting experiences, ensuring excellence in service standards, sales performance, and operational precision. Through attention to detail, anticipation of guest needs, and a passion for wine, cuisine, and hospitality, you will elevate Sterling's reputation as a premier Napa Valley luxury destination and ensure each Hilltop experience feels intentional, memorable, and exceptional.

Responsibilities:
* Lead, coach, and motivate a team of ~20 Hospitality Sales Associates to achieve DTC revenue, wine club conversion, data capture, and AOV goals.
* Maintain cost controls, inventory, and sales incentives to drive performance.
* Uphold guest service standards; engage with guests and resolve service issues.
* Oversee development and delivery of premium experiences, including food and wine pairings and elevated service training.
* Collaborate with Marketing, Central Operations, Retail, and Culinary teams on programming, Tock experiences, and POS setup.
* Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor staff; conduct performance reviews and lead daily pre-shifts.
* Manage daily operations including opening/closing, cash handling, POS troubleshooting, and compliance with safety and beverage service standards.
* Build local hospitality relationships act as an ambassador at special events and support wine club engagement.

About You
* You thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and love leading high‑energy sales teams.
* You bring 4+ years of DTC wine sales or guest service experience and a strong record of meeting targets.
* You're confident coaching teams of 15+ and inspiring performance through motivation and mentorship.
* You have deep wine knowledge and can confidently educate guests on winemaking and wine styles.
* You're organized, self‑motivated, and comfortable managing daily operations.
* You communicate clearly, and are tech-savvy with MS Office, POS and reservation systems.
* You enjoy working flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, and represent the brand with professionalism and polish.
* You can lift 40 lbs, are at least 21, and are willing to occasionally travel.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $69,000 to $75,000 per year and other benefits.
