Sales Manager
Position Overview
Soléna Estate is seeking a Sales Manager to lead both wholesale and direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales efforts, with a primary focus on growing wholesale distribution. This role will manage our distributor network, oversee pricing and inventory, and drive sales initiatives that build brand strength and profitability.
While wholesale is the central focus, this position will also collaborate with our DTC and Hospitality teams to ensure alignment across channels. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and creative, with strong communication and marketing skills.
This role does not manage the tasting room or logistics but works cross-functionally to ensure sales and marketing efforts are cohesive and effective.

Key Responsibilities
Wholesale Sales Leadership
• Manage and grow domestic and international distribution networks.
• Develop pricing structures, plan product rollouts.
• Create and evaluate sales incentive programs.
• Review monthly depletions and approve billbacks.
• Maintain up-to-date sales and marketing materials (sell sheets, tech sheets, pricing grids, presentation decks, etc.).
• Oversee wholesale budgets, and forecasts.
Trade & Market Development
• Conduct key market visits and support distributors and major accounts.
• Partner with the Brand Ambassador on local and national account development.
• Lead outreach to top-tier buyers and organize off-site events.
• Represent Soléna Estate at some industry events and associations.
• Host VIP trade and media visitors at the winery.
Direct-to-Consumer Oversight
• Collaborate with the DTC and Hospitality teams on corporate gifting and seasonal campaigns.
• Approve and schedule ecommerce email and SMS marketing in collaberations with DTC team.
• Support direct sales team with their sales goals and strategies align with brand objectives.

Qualifications
• 10+ years of wine industry sales experience, including wholesale and/or DTC management.
• Proven ability to manage distributor relationships and deliver sales growth.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable using and learning new digital tools (Excel, CRM systems, ecommerce, and marketing platforms).
• Experience developing marketing materials or working with design and creative teams.
• Ability to travel domestically as needed.
