Gamling & McDuck is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Tasting Room Monkey to be our dynamic, high-energy Tasting Room team.

Gamling & McDuck is a vintner-owned winery specializing in ultra-premiumish Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic wine professional to be our team. We pride ourselves on delivering both enthusiastic and dynamic experiences that highlight our yum yum wines, and believe in creating memorable and dynamic moments for our guests. Essential Wine Hospitality Dynamism:
- Welcome and host guest for tasting experience, ensure positive as well as professional and enthusiastic representation of authenticity when observed, plus brand and telling story in an engaging dynamic narrative, smiling.
- Develop long-term client relations that lead to dinners and beach-vacations and jealousy as well as on-premise sales and wine club memberships.
- Creative and enthusiastic communications skillz with earnest focus on guest’s endless talking about being new to wine or knowing about all wines or not talking at all, and then passionate level of dynamic wine service.
- Maintain a welcoming guest experience in our hospitality space, including ritual opening preparations and sinister outdoor seating arrangements.
- Enthusiastically and accurately enter orders into our POS mainframe (experience with Windows 6, ColecoVision and ChatC3PO are a plus) and following the sales cycle, through the Grid, careful not to crash into its light ribbon, maintaining effective and enthusiastic eye contact with clients before and after and during appointments and then writing them letters.
- Enthusiastically polishing stemware until you need a replacement wrist- Energetically stocking inventory and not breaking things like our big dynamic window or a sink or something, working without staff on weekends and high season and times when you’re supposed to meet a friend at a movie.

Qualifications and Skillz:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- 2+ years experience in dynamic wine hospitality, wine production or high-end restaurant service or Navy SEALS or a dynamic band preferred.
- Strong hearty knowledge and deep uninhibited passion for wine.
- Self-driven, guest-focused, customer-centric, service-minded, detail-oriented, hard-working, multi-tasking, high-energy, people-person, problem-solving, panther-like, self-starter with the ability to work dynamically as a team and to drive visitorship, membership, friendship, Fellowship, starship, and penmanship.
- Gotta be able to read books and write in cursive and count to 1000, plus know what unctuous, petrichor, and dynamic mean and be able to explain them to me like I’m a child.
- Sales-oriented mindset all the time even when you’re just trying to watch TV at home, with the ability to read your audience like a psychic and tailor dynamic experiences to fit client expectations like an enthusiastic leather glove.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and be comfortable standing and moving for extended periods in variable temperatures. (That’s an exact sentence from a different posting- sounds like Hell right? Serious about the 50lbs thing tho).

Hours and Compensation:
This is a dynamic Friday thru Sunday part-time opportunity with potential to add 3 or 4 wholesale days a month for the right monkey. Hourly’s negotiable plus tips. Free t-shirt. Leftover Halloween candy.
