Job Description:

LOLA Wines is currently seeking a motivated, energetic, and experienced Tasting Room Associate/ DTC & Wine Club Assistant with some concierge experience to join our hospitality team. FT/PT. This is an exciting opportunity at our LOLA House Tasting Room in Calistoga. Our ideal candidate has previous hosting experience and experience in e-commerce retail sales, wine club fulfillment, retail software systems (preferably Wine Direct), customer relations, and top-notch hospitality service. They will assist in hosting tastings, in DTC sales online and as well as in our Wine Club correspondence and fulfillment. They will also work with our current team on new release marketing programs, supported with collateral creation, email blasts, and social media posts in addition to assist in effective and innovative customer acquisition, conversion, loyalty, and retention strategies. Our successful candidate will first and foremost have genuine warmth in hospitality and customer service as well as possess initiative, innate charisma, and strong communication and problem solving skills. They will be organized and have a keen eye for detail, with the ability to follow through on all details and execution of our Hospitality/DTC/Wine Club operations from start to finish. LOLA Wines is a small family owned winery that is very passionate about what we do. From the grapes we farm, to the winemaking, to the end consumer. We care deeply for our customers, club members and all guests who take the time to come visit our tasting room and taste our wines.

The primary responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to the following:  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:  
•    Uphold a high standard of hospitality and deliver a superior customer service experience
•    Assist in all hospitality duties, including tastings (in-person and virtual)
•    Perform day-to-day tasting room floor operations and opening/closing procedures 
•  Assist in Wine Club, eCommerce and DTC Sales.
•  Day-to-day DTC operations such as planning, goals, sales, shipping, inventory, compliance, and reporting.
•  Manage fulfillment and shipping of all orders and club shipments.
•    Facilitate client communications – written and phone
•    Support team in executing tasting room shipping/receiving and wine allocation shipments (including packing wine shipments)
•    Acquisition, input, and maintenance of accurate customer data (including, but not limited to):  
o detailed customer profile notes
o accurate and timely club customer set up 
o use of correct order types and order tagging
•   Logistics: 
o Receiving inventory orders and stocking appropriately
o Notify Manager of necessary supplies/office Supplies
o Maintaining décor at the tasting room (keeping it neat and tidy and dusted, etc.) 
•    Sales Administration, including release sales and event sales
•    Telesales / Outreach when necessary
•    Provide Social Media/Blog content to DTC Team (including photos, important info, etc.)
•    Wash/polish wine glasses and dishes after tastings and reset tasting room
•    Assist with daily sanitization protocols pursuant to CDC guidelines to ensure cleanliness & overall appearance of the Tasting Room
•    Maintain a neat and tidy sales office, bathrooms and storage area  

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: 
•   3+ years of tasting room/DTC/Wine Club sales experience 
•  Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
•  Professional attitude and a strong work ethic.
•    Must be skilled in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
•    Must be tech-savvy and comfortable working in an online environment (when necessary)
•    Ability to organize and prioritize work
•    Creativity: requires a dynamic personality with enthusiasm and energy
•    Ability to maintain a positive "can do" attitude
•    Ability to manage change and adapt to a quick-changing environment
•    Relevant wine industry or direct sales experience
•    Knowledge of direct-to-consumer strategies•   Must be sales motivated.
•    A genuine passion and knowledge for wine, wine production, grape growing and the history of winemaking 
•    Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills 
•    Must have superior phone skills 
•    Must be a team player
•    Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs.•  Ability to work in a fast paced environment and keep busy during down time.

- Competitive Salary ($25-35+/hr depending on experience) + tips (currently $400+/wk)
