Accountant

Job Description:

This role provides essential bookkeeping and administrative support to the General Manager of a premier wine brand, working closely with our Fractional CFO. With operations that span a tasting room, vineyard, and restaurant, you’ll be part of a fast-moving, dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You’ll take ownership of daily financial data entry, prepare month-end journal entries, and serve as a key connection between our locations and management team.

Wine industry experience preferred, but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Note that this is not intended to restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
- Manage accounts payable through Bill.com
- Manage sales and accounts receivable
- Enter month-end journal entries
- File and pay Out of State returns through ShipCompliant
- Research and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries
- Review the QB file and ensure that transactions are coded and tagged appropriately
- File paper documents
- Follow up with other departments and managers
- Other projects and tasks as assigned or needed
- Regular attendance and schedule adherence

Required Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years using QuickBooks Desktop

Proficient knowledge of:
- Bill.com
- Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, filters)
- Microsoft Word
- G Suite
- Spanish Bilingual

Pay: $95,000 - $110,000 annual salary
