JOB SUMMARY Drive sales growth and brand visibility within the competitive beverage industry. This position involves managing relationships with retailers, restaurants, and other clients to promote and sell wine and spirits products. The role demands a blend of sales expertise, deep product knowledge, and excellent customer service skills to meet and exceed sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Achieve or exceed sales targets within assigned territory by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
•
• Develop and execute territory sales plans that align with company objectives.
• Present and promote the product portfolio to new and existing clients, ensuring an in-depth understanding of product offerings.
• Negotiate pricing and promotional agreements in line with company policies
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, including retail stores, restaurants, bars, and event venues
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and offering solutions tailored to client needs
• Collaborate with clients to create and implement marketing and promotional strategies that drive sales.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive activity, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
• Gather and analyze sales data, providing regular reports to management on territory performance, challenges, and opportunities.
• Participate in trade shows, tastings, and other industry events to represent the brand and expand market presence.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s wine and spirits portfolio, including origins, production methods, and tasting notes.
• Educate clients and their staff on product features, benefits, and applications to enhance sell-through rates.
• Conduct tastings, demonstrations, and presentations to showcase the portfolio and engage clients.
• Create & develop campaigns and strategies specific to a certain customer group or account.
• Deploy campaigns and monitor ongoing success for measurement of ROI.
• Curate media and content to be used for Social Media and other formats
• Attend meetings at the corporate office three times per month

JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
Education or Job Knowledge equivalent to a two-year college program.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Undertake & Complete Responsible Beverage Training Program Offered by California Alcoholic Beverage Control.
• Consider earning a Wine / Spirits Certification Credential:
o WSET - Wine & Spirits Education Trust
o CSS - Certified Specialist of Spirits
o SOMM - Sommelier / Wine Steward
EXPERIENCE The minimum amount of relevant work experience required to successfully per the job, is at least three (3) years.
