Job Summary:
• Plans, organizes, and directs the activities and staff involved in the design, construction, coordination, modification, maintenance and administration of company facilities and equipment.
• Evaluate and plan for anticipated space and facility requirements for construction and equipment maintenance and installation.
• Obtain and evaluate contractor proposals for upcoming equipment and construction projects.
• Review preliminary and final construction and equipment plans meet specifications, design consideration, and budget criteria meet facility needs.
• Investigate and diagnose facility and equipment malfunction and coordinate corrective action.
• Investigate and evaluate new materials, systems and equipment which may benefit the company in its facility program and maintain MSDS.
• Responsible for Safety Committee meetings, implementing safety policy and adhering to safety regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with Human Resources in scheduling employee safety trainings.
• Responsible for maintaining QAC/QALfor sulfur dioxide use within winery facility, order SO2 supply and maintain compliance reporting.
• Evaluate current processes meet facility standards and compliance requirements
• Responsible for the employment, employee motivation, counseling and discipline of employees supervised.
• The Company may as job and business necessity dictate modify duties.

Experience and Training:
Requires a well-rounded knowledge of facilities design, construction, administration and maintenance and seven years of progressively responsible facilities development/construction activity, including the supervision of related staff.

Equipment – Computer and proficiency with all equipment necessary to maintain the facility.
Software – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Vintrace, Innovint
Physical Requirements:
Ability to demonstrate physical strength and endurance for extended periods of time.
Environmental Conditions:
Extreme hot and cold, high noise levels, hazardous chemicals, and atmospheric conditions such as fumes, dust, odors, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.

Status: Salary, Exempt
Hours: Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm and any overtime as needed
