Introduction
Are you a positive, inspiring, multitasking, and “can-do” professional? Massanois is seeking a Junior Brand Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior brand managers and company leadership to build and manage our dynamic portfolio of wines and spirits. Depending on your experience, you may also manage select winery relationships directly.

We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of the U.S. wine and spirits market and the three-tier system—how imported and domestic wines move from origin to point of sale. You should be commercially minded, detail-oriented, and skilled in analyzing data, building pricing models, and supporting both business development and sales initiatives. Experience in sales, particularly with established key account relationships, is a plus.

Responsibilities
* In collaboration with senior brand managers and ownership, you will:
* Support sourcing of new wines and spirits from category identification through onboarding and launch
* Support brand and portfolio sales through development of pricing, promotion, education, and local, regional and national account sales support
* Run and analyze sales and depletion reports to highlight opportunities and challenges, communicate these internally, with our distribution partners, and with our suppliers
* Assist with inventory management and long-term purchasing forecasts
* Manage supplier marketing budgets and help organize events, tastings, and winery visits
* Support business development and the national sales team in targeting and closing new accounts
* Record and distribute detailed supplier meeting notes, following up diligently on action items
* Contribute to sales pitches, presentations, content, and educational materials
* Manage POS materials and sample distribution’
* Submit wines for scoring to publications (Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Vinous, Wine & Spirits) and communicate results internally
* Plus: Personally drive sales through direct key account work and collaboration with sales teams

About You
* Strong knowledge of wine regions, varietals and producers
* Strong analytical skills; highly proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
* Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple priorities with composure
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills—clear, concise, and professional
* Comfortable presenting in person and creating compelling presentations
* Proficient tasting skills; able to organize and participate in internal and external tastings
* Willing to support trade tasting events both locally and in other markets
* Ability to type quickly and capture detailed, accurate meeting notes (with AI tools as needed)
* Able to lift 40 lbs. (as everyone at Massanois pitches in with wine shipments at times)

Requirements
* 3+ years of experience with a wine importer, distributor, or retailer
* 2+ years of sales experience with a wine importer, distributor, or retailer
* Strong knowledge of and passion for wine and spirits
* Experience with inventory management and purchasing
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace apps
* Strong set of key account relationships and desire to maintain direct sales involvement
* Salesforce experience a plus
