Harvest Ridge Winery is a family farm winery with 190 acres of farm. We are a growing winery dedicated to producing exceptional wines and creating memorable guest experiences. From vineyard to bottle, our team takes pride in quality, hospitality, and innovation. We’re seeking a driven and experienced General Manager to lead and drive sales, oversee daily operations, support our team, and help shape the next chapter of our winery’s success.
Position Overview:
The General Manager will oversee all aspects of winery operations, including tasting room management, sales, events, marketing, and staff leadership. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance business strategy with hospitality excellence, ensuring smooth operations while driving growth.
Key Responsibilities:
•  Lead, manage, and support staff across departments (sales, tasting rooms, events, vineyard, cellar, as applicable).
•  Develop and monitor budgets, financial goals, and performance metrics.
•  Continue to drive new and existing wine sales through direct-to-consumer, wine club, and wholesale channels.
•  Enhance brand visibility and expansion.
•  Collaborate with ownership to set strategic goals and long-term growth plans.
•  Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety, and regulatory requirements.
•  Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, distributors, and community partners.
Qualifications:
Proven sales record, Leadership, forward thinking, process-oriented, problem-solving/creative thinking, excellent internal and external communication, adaptability, teamwork, training/instructing others, ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously, marketing/networking, attention to detail, and analyzing information.
Preferred:
•  Previous winery or wine industry management experience.
•  Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Viticulture, Enology, or Business Administration
•  Knowledge of wine production, vineyard operations, and/or sales channels.
Prior Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of sales and management experience.
