Job description:
Atlas Wine Co. is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Winemaker & Sales Manager to play a key role across our portfolio, including Opal Moon Collective bulk wine sales and Omen Wines winemaking and distributor support. This position blends technical winemaking expertise with sales and client relationship management, offering a unique opportunity for a driven individual to grow into greater responsibilities within our organization.
The ideal candidate is early in their career, motivated, and goal-oriented — with the ambition to develop both as a winemaker and as a commercial leader in the wine industry.
Key Responsibilities
Winemaking & Production
Manage and coordinate bulk winemaking across multiple Atlas custom crush sites.
Oversee winemaking for Omen Wines, ensuring quality and style consistency.
Supervise production logistics, from fruit sourcing through finished wine.
Sales & Client Relations
Lead Opal Moon Collective bulk wine sales, matching clients with sourcing opportunities.
Provide sales and technical support for Omen Wines across the national distributor network, including travel for market visits.
Communicate sourcing stories and technical details to clients, distributors, and partners.
Grower & Partner Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with growers across multiple regions.
Negotiate and manage grape/bulk sourcing agreements.
Act as liaison between growers, custom crush partners, and sales distributor network.
Qualifications
Degree in Enology, Viticulture, Wine Business, or related field preferred.
2–5 years of experience in winemaking and wine sales
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Goal-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset; sports or competitive background a plus.
Willingness to travel (domestic) for distributor sales support and vineyard visits.
Passion for wine, with the ability to grow into expanded leadership responsibilities.

Compensation: This position offers a base salary of $80,000 plus a performance-based commission structure, with a total earning potential of up to $120,000 annually.
