Account Manager For Premium Cooperage

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team and help expand our presence in Northern California. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead sales strategies, attract new clients, and contribute to the growth of our company in the dynamic wine industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of barrels and/or oak adjuncts, along with established relationships within the wine industry. If you’re a motivated self-starter with a proven sales track record and a passion for cultivating relationships, we’d love to hear from you.

As an Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in boosting revenue and driving business growth through client management, lead generation, and closing sales. Your ability to innovate, strategize, and exceed sales targets will be crucial to your success!

Desired Qualifications:
- Proven success in sales with a track record of exceeding quotas
- Home office experience and the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills for managing travel and maintaining motivation
- Proficiency with CRM software, Excel, and other digital tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ideally based in or near Napa County

Primary Job Functions:
- Build and grow a robust client database within your territory
- Forecast sales and create creative, out-of-the-box strategies
- Drive sales through various methods, including cold calling, presentations, and direct outreach
- Cultivate lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions
- Meet and exceed personal and team sales targets
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and attend relevant sales events and training
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure positive, long-term client relationships
- Report on performance and provide feedback using sales data and analytics
