About the Job
Gravitas Wine Marketing is a California based wine importer and wholesale company with a world-class portfolio of producers from across the globe. We are a group of passionate and seasoned wine professionals dedicated to offering exceptional quality, selection and service to our valued partners.
We’re looking to fill a few open territories with experienced wine salespeople who possess a solid foundation of wine knowledge (both imports and domestic). The right applicants will come with a can-do attitude as well as active, working relationships with local on and off premise buyers.
You must be able to work independently, lining up daily appointments with existing and potential accounts. Working with buyers to find the right fit from within our extensive portfolio.

San Francisco
San Diego
Monterey / Carmel
San Luis Obispo
Peninsula (Bay Area)
Santa Cruz to Big Sur
Santa Barbara
San Diego

Ideal Candidate will
Live locally and have an extensive knowledge of the market and key players
Have 3 – 5+ years’ experience selling into on and/or off premise accounts
Possess a strong understanding of French, Italian, Australian, New Zealand and South American imports as well as Californian wines
Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills
Be tech-savvy to fully utilize online account database and online ordering
