As the Hospitality & Event Manager at Folded Hills—Winery, Ranch & Farmstead, you will
play a critical leadership role, overseeing all aspects of hospitality operations and event
execution across our properties and in the community. This individual will ensure that every
guest experience and event reflects the spirit of casual luxury, gracious hospitality, and surprise
& delight that defines the Folded Hills brand.
This role demands exceptional project management, team leadership, organization, and guest-
focused service. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment where both front-of-house operations and event planning require a seamless, elevated execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Leadership & Development:
• Recruit, train, and manage hospitality and event team members (tasting room leads, stewards, hosts, and event support).
• Create, implement, and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both daily service and event operations.
• Foster a service culture grounded in patience, graciousness, and a commitment to casual luxury.
• Provide ongoing coaching, education, and performance development for all hospitality and event staff.
Hospitality Operations:
• Oversee tasting room operations across both locations, ensuring daily service meets Five-Star Hospitality standards.
• Manage guest reservations and staffing to optimize daily guest experiences.
• Personally host VIP guests, private experiences, and contribute to the execution of private group events.
• Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service laws and prioritize guest safety at all times.
Event Planning & Execution:
• Lead all aspects of event planning and execution: collaborate on concept development, budgeting, logistics, day-of management, P&L’s and post-event evaluation.
• Collaborate with the Membership Manager, GM and owner to develop and execute member-exclusive events as well as community partnerships.
• Maintain clear event timelines, run of show, manage internal communication, and ensure detailed delegation to event support teams.
• Build and manage vendor relationships for events and gifting programs, ensuring high-quality service and brand alignment.
• Occasionally travel to coordinate and execute off-site events in other markets.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities:
• Manage hospitality and event budgets, monitoring expenses and profitability.
• Provide post-event profit and loss summaries and performance analysis to leadership.
• Track and report sales, reservations, and guest data to support business planning.
Brand Development & Business Growth:
• Communicate promotions, operational updates, and initiatives clearly across the team.
• Support wine club membership sales and guest engagement strategies.
• Partner with the management team to strengthen Folded Hills’ brand presence locally and regionally.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the guest journey and deepen customer loyalty.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of hospitality and/or event management experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple moving parts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Knowledge of wine, food, and agriculture is a plus (but not required).
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. (e.g., cases of wine).
