Customer Service/Office Representative (Temporary Full-Time)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service/Office Representative to join our team in a temporary full-time role. This position will run approximately 4–5 months, starting mid-October through Feb/Mar, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service, and supporting office operations.
Responsibilities:
• Act as receptionist to manage inbound and outbound calls, voicemail messages, and phone system.
• Manage office supply inventory.
• Perform a full range of administrative support tasks including filing, record keeping, photocopying, and scanning.
• Use PC-based software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) to complete administrative assignments.
• Maintain and communicate accurate knowledge of weather conditions for all shipments.
• Stay up to date on domestic shipping regulations (training provided).
• Coordinate customer pick-up orders and pack wine orders.
• Support the sales team with order processing and web orders.
• Notify customers of shipment issues and work toward effective resolutions.
• Ensure all client concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
• Assist with local errands, including delivering/picking up packages and preparing/processing shipments.
• Other duties as assigned by the management team.
Qualifications:
• Minimum two years administrative experience required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to work full-time and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organized, punctual, and able to independently prioritize and problem solve.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
