The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading Alma Rosa’s marketing and communications strategy with a strong focus on direct-to-consumer (DTC) engagement. This role oversees online sales platforms, wine club programs, and promotional initiatives, ensuring consistent brand alignment across all channels. The Marketing Manager will balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, driving customer acquisition, brand awareness, and sales growth.

Job Summary

The Marketing Manager will oversee the execution of all marketing campaigns, digital communications, and membership engagement initiatives. This includes managing e-commerce, developing targeted email and social campaigns, creating promotional collateral, and collaborating with sales and hospitality teams to support events, trade outreach, and brand storytelling. The role will serve as a key connector between departments, ensuring that all communications elevate Alma Rosa’s luxury brand positioning and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans aligned with strategic business goals.
- Manage social media calendar and content creation, ensuring consistency of voice and aesthetic.
- Oversee email marketing campaigns, audience segmentation, and performance analysis.
- Produce engaging digital content (copy, images, video) that reflects Alma Rosa’s luxury positioning.
- Design or coordinate production of branded collateral (POS, brochures, signage, etc.).
- Oversee advertising campaigns (digital, print, influencer partnerships) and track ROI.

Wine Club & DTC Engagement
- Manage wine club communications, offers, and member engagement.
- Develop programs to attract, retain, and reward members.
- Support tasting room and Ranch staff with sales tools, promotions, and training.
- Collaborate with hospitality team on events, launches, and club-exclusive experiences.

Events & Promotions
- Develop, plan and promote winery events and experiences, including pick-up parties, seasonal celebrations, ranch experiences, and our annual Peace of Mind Walk fundraising event.
- Coordinate promotional campaigns tied to product launches, harvest, and brand milestones.
- Partner with wholesale team to support trade events and tastings.

Systems & Reporting
- Implement and oversee CRM and e-commerce systems to ensure accurate product listings, order processing, and data capture.
- Work with Manager, Business Systems & Customer Insights, to build dashboards for DTC KPIs (AOV, conversion rates, sales velocity).
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in wine, luxury hospitality, or lifestyle brands.
- Strong understanding of wine styles, regions, and tasting practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage marketing campaigns from strategy through execution.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
- Proficiency with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing platforms, and CRM systems (Hubspot, etc.).
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
- Collaborative team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
