Marietta Tasting Room Associate

Looking for enthusiastic team players to join us at our beautiful new tasting room in Downtown Healdsburg. Marietta is a second-generation, family-owned company that is passionate about great wines and great people. We’ve been loving what we do for over 40 years. Job includes:
- Greet guests, make them feel welcome
- Understand the brand story and have the communication skills to convey the story to guests
- Set-up and host wine tastings
- Describe the wine club benefits and learn how to convert to memberships
- Sell wine and merchandise
- Collaborate with coworkers to create a great guest experience
- Book guest and member experiences via phone or email for all tasting room experiences, gathering necessary billing and contact information
- Assist with hospitality special events as needed
- Support the team in daily duties, including but not limited to restocking, cleaning, opening and closing duties
- Must be able to be on feet for extended periods and lift 40lbs (case of wine)

What we are looking for:
- Must be 21 years of age
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Passionate about great hospitality
- Good communicator and positive attitude
- Clean professional appearance
- Team player: willingness to jump in and wear many hats
- POS experience preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to learn the wines and communicate about them with enthusiasm

Benefits:
- Base pay $23/hour
- Plus Tips and commissions
- Quarterly bonus if target metrics are met
