Wetzel Estate winery is seeking harvest interns for the 2025 vintage. We are a family owned and operated winery and vineyard located in the heart of the Willamette valley.
Interns should:
-be passionate about wine
-have an enthusiastic and inquisitive nature
-be able to work long hours in various weather conditions
-able to lift 50 lbs regularly
-have a desire to work with a wide range of cool climate grape varieties
-interest in a wide range of winemaking techniques
-willing to enjoy the camaraderie and sense of accomplishment coming from a demanding work experience
-prior harvest experience a plus
-forklift experience a plus
Interns will be involved in all aspects of processing, sanitation, fruit sampling, receive basic lab exposure, be involved in small and large lot fermentation management, receive exposure to equipment operation and more.
Harvest positions will begin mid-late September and end early to mid-November
