Job Listing: Seasonal Harvest Worker – Winery (Columbia River Gorge)

We’re hiring seasonal harvest workers to join our small production team for the 2025 vintage! Our vineyard is perched on the slopes of Underwood Mountain, an extinct shield volcano in the Columbia River Gorge, with grapes grown in a cool subalpine climate. Wines are produced just across the river in Cascade Locks, Oregon, a 40-minute drive east of Portland.

About the Vineyard & Wine Style:
We farm three vineyard sites spanning 26 planted acres, all certified organic and in transition to Demeter biodynamic certification. Our wine program focuses on traditional method sparkling wines, along with subalpine whites, pinot noir, and gamay noir—all grown with respect for soil health, biodiversity, and mountain terroir.

Job Details:
•  Season: September–Mid-November (approx.)
•  Location: Vineyard in Underwood, WA; Winery in Cascade Locks, OR
•  Accommodations: Available on-site in our vineyard

Responsibilities include:
•  Fruit processing and sorting
•  Fermentation monitoring and cap management
•  Barrel washing and steaming
•  General cellar sanitation and cleaning
•  Forklift operation (if experienced)

Preferred Qualifications:
•  Prior cellar/crush experience
•  Forklift certification or experience

Requirements:
•  Ability to work long, physically demanding hours, including weekends
•  Comfortable with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting
•  Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn
