San Francisco Wine School is seeking a reliable, hard-working, detail-oriented individual who has lots of positive energy, relishes responsibility and wants to join San Francisco Wine School in producing the highest quality clas-ses and events in the industry. Organization, efficiency, flexibility and a smile will be keys to success in our fast-paced, exciting and fun environment. We rebottle into 2-ounce bottles and ship wine kits for classes every week all over the US.
Position: Part-Time Bottling, Shipping, & Operations Associate
Department: Operations
Reports to: Founder & CEO, David Glancy, MS, CWE
Hours: Flexible/Part-Time ~16+ hrs per wk. Additional hours are also available to cover staff leave & may be combined with other openings to create full time work
Wages: Commensurate with experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Cellar Duties:
o Manage supply inventory for class and shipping materials
o Assist with custom tasting kit assembly
o Maintain general organization and cleanliness of shipping area
o Assist with receiving wines, cellar organization, and perpetual inventory
• Shipping Duties:
o Manage tasting kit shipping process
o Creating and tracking shipments and managing relationships with our carriers
o Purchasing and managing shipping supplies
• Operations Duties:
o Assist with event & class set up and breakdown. This may include handling fragile crystal, mov-ing banquet furniture, moving A/V carts, and implementing detail floor plan layouts and table sets.
o Crosstrain in other jobs to provide absentee coverage, and increase growth opportunities
Skills Required:
• Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite experience and general computer/technology abilities are re-quired.
• Salesforce and Zoom Room experience is a bonus
• General ability to read / understand wine labels
• Reliability and timeliness
• Organization & efficiency
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with management, peers, and guests
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and able to lift at least 50lbs when needed
• SFWS student experience preferred
