Job Description:

Regional General Manager – Lake Oswego & Portland Wine Lounges

Mission
Provide an exceptional brand experience through deep product knowledge, hospitality, and customer service. Broaden client reach, inspire and educate staff and guests, and manage all Lounge operations to promote Domaine Serene as a premier luxury brand.
Core Responsibilities
Performance
•  Full financial/managerial responsibility for both Lounges including budgets, P&L, staffing, and profitability.
•  Execute marketing/sales programs, traffic-driving initiatives, and cross-functional collaborations to increase visitation, revenue, and club conversions.
•  Forecast, analyze, and align with 3-channel sales goals.
•  Partner with Events to deliver well-executed, brand-consistent lounge events.
People
•  Lead a culture of excellence, engagement, and accountability across FOH, Support, and culinary teams.
•  Hire, train, and develop staff; execute seasonal staffing plans.
•  Provide regular communication, coaching, reviews, and professional development.
•  Oversee wine education/training, club program support, and guest experiences.
•  Mentor teams on priorities, sales/club goals, cost of sales, and processes.
Programs
•  Propose and implement new initiatives to grow sales and guest experiences.
•  Elevate wine knowledge across lounges and hospitality.
•  Stay current on hospitality trends, partner with community organizations.
•  Develop culinary programs with Executive Chef; maintain VIP/member relations.
•  Support outreach through personal contacts, email, and phone engagement.
Process
•  Oversee cash, inventory, cost of sales, and system accuracy (POS, reservations, wine pickup).
•  Ensure operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, payroll tracking, and reconciliation.
•  Conduct monthly reviews on financial, staffing, and operational performance.
•  Drive revenue by increasing guest spend, wine club acquisitions, and profitability.
Projects
•  Partner with Events Manager on private/semi-private events.
•  Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline SOPs, logistics, and inventory systems.
•  Collaborate with Culinary/Hospitality on food, wine, and guest logistics.
Purpose
•  Champion Domaine Serene’s luxury brand values, delivering exceptional guest experiences.
•  Represent winery professionally at on/off-site events.
•  Foster mentorship, ownership, and continuous improvement.
•  Build local partnerships to expand reach and engagement.
•  Support strategic initiatives including merchandise and wine club growth.
Requirements
•  HS diploma required; bachelor’s in hospitality/business preferred.
•  3+ years sales/management experience in service-focused organizations.
•  Wine industry experience required.
•  Proficiency in MS Office; Vin65/WineDirect a plus.
•  Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
•  Certifications: OLCC Service Permit & Food Handler Card required; Sommelier/CSW/WSET preferred.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
•  Stand for extended periods; weekends required.
•  Lift/move 50 lbs; work in variable temperatures; noise level moderate to loud.
