Scotto Family Cellars – Lodi, CA
Position Type: Onsite, Lodi CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Reports To: General Manger and other supporting managers
Position Overview
Scotto Family Cellars is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Compliance Specialist to join our Lodi, CA team. This role is fully onsite and plays a key part in ensuring our operations remain in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of experience in compliance, accounting, or a related field, with a strong aptitude for accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
•  Prepare and submit county, state, and federal reports, including Excise Taxes, TTB 702 reports, and state tax filings, ensuring all deadlines are met.
•  Manage bulk and cased product movement using InnoVint and Access software.
•  Perform monthly reconciliations of physical inventory against system records; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
•  Generate monthly inventory analysis for management and accounting review.
•  Assist the production team with preparing Bills of Lading for bulk and cased wine shipments.
•  Organize and maintain all compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
•  Support the compliance team with data entry and administrative tasks as needed.
•  Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance standards are upheld using written and oral communication.
•  Perform other duties as assigned by management.
•  Submit monthly reporting of independent contractors to proper accounting team.
•  Daily written reports
•  Process TTB certificate of label approvals.
Qualifications
•  High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
•  Experience with InnoVint software preferred but not required.
•  Familiarity with TTB 702 reporting and state tax submissions preferred but not required.
•  Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
•  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•  High attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
•  Knowledge of wine varietals, appellations, vintages, and packaging formats is a plus.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
•  Role is based in an office located within a production facility; noise levels may vary.
•  Ability to sit for extended periods.
•  Basic math proficiency, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate percentages.
•  Regular collaboration with multiple departments.
