HUNNICUTT is a family-owned boutique winery in Napa Valley, founded in 2002 by Seana and Justin Hunnicutt Stephens. Located north of St. Helena, along Silverado Trail, we focus on producing small-lot Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Merlot, and Chardonnay sourced from Napa and Sonoma vineyards.  We are passionately relationship driven and seek to forge meaningful connection with our customers in a down to earth, personable and confident style.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, hospitality-oriented individual to join our team as an Estate Host. This full-time role is ideal for someone who embodies gracious hospitality, attention to detail, and a love of wine.  In addition to the hospitality and sales focus, this role will include operations support duties including but not limited to assisting with marketing outreach, shipping and inventory logistics and the care and upkeep of the winery.

Key Responsibilities:

Hospitality:
•  Hosting - Lead private wine tastings on property, connecting with guests and providing an inside look into our approach and the stories and people behind our wines.
•  Concierge - Assist customers with all aspects of their visit to wine country, from coordinating and booking tastings at the winery, to making recommendations and connections with other wineries, restaurants and hotels.
•  Onsite Sales - Generate wine sales through connection with guests at the winery and follow up with all aspects of the sale, from the creation and confirmation of orders, to batching, shipping and providing delivery assistance.
•  Wine Club - Promote connection with our wines and brand through our wine club memberships.  Provide ongoing support to club members, assisting with visitation, sales or other personalized requests.
•  Inventory - Collaboratively manage the wine inventory both at the winery and our shipping fulfillment partners to ensure that wines are stocked as needed.
•  Outreach - Develop and foster relationships with Drivers, Concierge Teams and Winery Partners to encourage these referral sources and expand our network.

Sales and Marketing:
•  Offsite Sales - Represent the winery at offsite sales opportunities, such as charity galas, grand tastings and in-home events.
•  Outreach Sales - Work with the hospitality team to develop and execute specialty sales campaigns, reaching out to customers to offer pre-release and limited production offerings.
•  Release Communications - Assist our marketing team in the drafting and review of release communications, tasting notes and other non-sales communications to customers.

Event Support:
•  Onsite Event Planning - Assist in the planning of onsite winery events, including facilitating communications with catering, event rental, music and valet vendors.
•  Event Execution - Assist in all aspects of event execution, including but not limited to setup, service and cleanup.

Operations Support
•  Customer Support - In partnership with operations assist customers with any and all non-hospitality or sales related needs.
•  Facility Maintenance - Work collaboratively with the team to keep the hospitality spaces, offices and restrooms clean, welcoming and stocked of all necessities.
•  Production Communication - Work with the production team to ensure cohesive communication regarding the needs and plans of the hospitality team.

Qualifications and Requirements:
•  2+ years' experience in winery hospitality or related sectors.
•  An active interest in wine, the wine business of Napa Valley and a desire to continually grow your knowledge base.
•  Excellent organizational and goal setting skills with a willingness to work collaboratively.
•  Proficiency in the Microsoft suite as well as eCellar or similar CRM systems.
•  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
•  Must have the ability to lift and carry 40 pounds.

Pay Range and Benefits:
•  $68,000-$80,000 based on salary and projected commissions.
