Job Title: Tasting Room Wine Educator (Part-Time)

Job Description:
Quivira Vineyards is seeking a part-time Tasting Room Wine Educator to deliver exceptional guest experiences through engaging wine education and warm hospitality. This role blends service, storytelling, and operational support to ensure guests leave with a deeper connection to our wines, organic farming, and estate. They will also assist with events, off-site tastings, and wine club activities, contributing to an elevated and seamless experience across all guest touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Lead informative and engaging wine tastings that share Quivira’s story, wines, and farming practices in an approachable way.
•  Provide personalized hospitality and anticipate guest needs to create memorable visits.
•  Maintain clean and orderly guest areas, including tasting rooms, outdoor patios, and back-of-house spaces.
•  Clean, polish, and organize glassware and service items to ensure readiness for tastings and events.
•  Assist with setup and breakdown of tasting spaces, outdoor furniture, and umbrellas.
•  Monitor and maintain inventory of tasting and cleaning supplies; communicate needs to management.
•  Support tasting room operations during tours, events, and wine club activities, ensuring all areas remain stocked and guest-ready.
•  Help maintain attractive displays of wine and merchandise, restocking as needed.
•  Assist with packing and shipping wine orders, POS support, and other operational tasks.
•  Collaborate with hospitality and event managers on special projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
•  Passion for wine with a desire to educate and engage guests.
•  Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
•  Hospitality, tasting room, or customer service experience preferred
•  Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace with minimal supervision.
•  Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing needs.
•  Ability to lift 55 lbs and stand for extended periods.
•  Must be 21 years or older and available weekends (weekday flexibility is a plus).
Work Environment:
•  Indoor and outdoor estate setting with moderate noise levels typical of public events and gatherings.
