About Us
Our family acquired a unique 16-acre property in Oakville in 1994, comprised of a ten-acre Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard and a historic restaurant we re-named Brix. After years of selling our grapes to some of Napa Valley’s most prestigious wineries, we began producing our own estate Cabernet Sauvignon to share with family, friends, and patrons of our restaurants.
In recent years, we’ve expanded our portfolio, sourcing grapes from small family-owned vineyards in Napa and Sonoma to produce Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rosé, and Pinot Noir. Our philosophy is rooted in family, hospitality, and crafting wines of exceptional quality that create memorable experiences for our guests.

Position Summary
Kelleher Family Vineyards is seeking a polished, enthusiastic, and hospitality-driven Part-Time Tasting Room Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will create warm, memorable guest experiences while sharing the story of our wines and property. This position requires exceptional customer service, a passion for wine, and the ability to work collaboratively in a luxury hospitality environment.

Essential Responsibilities
•  Curate and maximize in-person wine & food experiences for guests.
•  Strengthen existing member and collector relationships while building new connections through tastings, events, phone, and email communication.
•  Represent the Kelleher brand and family ethos with professionalism, authenticity, and warmth.
•  Support business development activities by cultivating referral partners to drive sales and brand awareness.
•  Assist with hospitality events and digital communications in a professional and organized manner.
•  Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including opening and closing procedures.
•  Collaborate with ownership and restaurant teams to deliver a holistic luxury guest experience.
•  Support trade hospitality events as needed, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements
•  5+ years of experience in wine sales, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
•  Strong knowledge of wine with the ability to communicate compelling brand and product stories.
•  Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
•  Experience with winery POS systems and ability to learn new software quickly.
•  Outstanding customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
•  Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities.
•  Team-oriented with a commitment to excellence and high standards.
•  Must be fluent in English.
•  Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
