We are in search of a Marketing Manager who will play a vital role in our organization by providing leadership and innovation. This is a rare opportunity to join the management team at one of Oregon’s founding wineries. Adelsheim Vineyard was established in 1971 and has played an instrumental role in nearly every aspect of the Oregon wine story. While our legacy may be over 50 years, we are just getting started.
As Marketing Manager, you are a core member of the AV team and the main liaison between marketing and direct to consumer and wholesale sales channels. Key responsibilities include project management and vendor relations, PR and media outreach, working directly with strategic partners, on-site and off-site experiences, brand management, label management, and the daily support work that keeps the department running smoothly and efficiently.
Also responsible for being the point person with our digital marketing firm to work on e-commerce, email marketing, social media engagement, and paid search campaigns as well as analytics and website updates. You will report to the Director of Consumer Sales & Marketing while working directly with the Tasting Room Manager, Wine Club Manager, and National Sales Manager to align and unify our branding across both digital and physical locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and evolve brand awareness for Adelsheim as the benchmark producer in the Chehalem Mountains and Willamette Valley
• Continue to elevate our estate vineyards, people, and brand for all channels
• Work directly with Club Manager to grow the club and extend tenure by reducing attrition
• Develop and execute Ecom marketing campaigns to drive significant revenue for the business
• Provide recommendations for the creation of email blasts, online advertising, and re-targeting campaigns
• Oversee timely update of relevant content on the Adelsheim website
• Assist in management of the Adelsheim consumer Database, implement list-building strategy and perform regular maintenance
• Support the Tasting Room by continued driving of traffic to the on-site experiences as well as virtual
• Maintain close relationships with key customers and distributor teams to ensure products across the brand portfolio are positively showcased and promoted
• Track and coordinate score submissions & press for Adelsheim wines. Foster relationships with outside press
• Maintain a relationship with contracted vendors that support marketing needs
• Create and support new product development, with launch support materials and where needed, packaging design development
• Maintain standard operating procedures for marketing project requests
• Focus on overall data capture to grow the database
• Support the wholesale channel with educational and brand assets
Job Qualifications
• 2-5 years of experience in marketing with a focus on luxury consumer goods
• Incredible work ethic, well organized and high attention to detail
• Ability to anticipate needs and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Commerce7 or WineDirect as well as MS Office suite
• Passionate about the wine industry
• Demonstrated sales ability and leadership
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and carry 40lbs
• Must be 21 years of age or older
