Job Summary
The Concierge is the first person to greet guests upon arrival. The purpose of the position is to provide guests with an exceptional guest experience while partnering the wine ambassadors in creating a smooth flow of service to our guests from time of booking through the time of their departure. The Concierge is responsible for efficiently and effectively calendaring reservation requests, answering phone calls and guest inquiries. Has the ability to greet guests warmly and gather and enter contact data while maintaining the highest level of customer service. The Concierge will passionately and enthusiastically share winery history, heritage, and vision with guests and help the winery establish and maintain a reputation as a top destination in the Napa Valley. This position reports to the Tasting Room Manager.
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 9:30 - 5:30
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
• Ensure every guest enjoys their experience from the first moment of contact through to their departure
• Graciously and professionally pair guests with a Charles Krug wine ambassador
• Manage and create schedules & maps for various experiences, confirm reservations
• Answer tasting room phone calls
• Answer reservation inquires in Red Chirp Chats
• Develop and maintain relationships with local Restaurants/Wineries
• Manage multiple projects while remaining poised and gracious under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
• Communicate and interact well among teammates, supervisors, diverse customer base, wine club members and corporate groups
• Knowledgeable about the Charles Krug brand messaging and the unique guest experiences available
• Exceptional customer service skills, provide excellent guests experiences
• Open, honest and friendly with colleagues and guests while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Detail oriented, self-starter with a good work ethic and the ability to work independently
• Must have a sense of urgency
• Ability to keep a positive attitude and be adaptable in a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications (work experience, preferred skills and education):
Computer proficiency, eCellar knowledge a plus
Ability to lift 40 pounds
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Must be 21 years of age.
Must be able to work weekends and weekdays.
High school diploma, or GED; two-year college degree preferred.
One to two years prior related experience with customer service and / or phones.
