Oregon Brand Management is a family-owned wine distributor that has served the Oregon market for over 20 years. We proudly represent a portfolio of iconic, heritage wineries from the Northwest as well as a diverse collection of imports from Spain, Italy and France including: Beaux Freres, Brooks, The Eyrie Vineyards, Lopez de Heredia, Patricia Green Cellars and Soter Vineyards. Our customers include fine-dining restaurants, independent retailers, private clubs and golf courses, liquor stores, plus independent and chain grocery stores.
We are seeking an organized, self-motivated candidate with great customer service skills to maintain and grow an established territory that covers Portland and the Willamette Valley. The candidate will be expected to promote the OBM portfolio by regularly presenting wine to their account base, organizing and conducting in educational consumer tasting events and promptly communicating inventory updates and arrivals to their customers. This position will report to the Managing Director.
Requirements:
• A working knowledge of wine, wine regions, especially the Willamette Valley, whether from wholesale, retail or restaurant experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Office Suite and practiced email communication skills.
• Be available to work some weekends or evenings for consumer events.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift and carry 45 pounds.
• Must have a valid OLCC server’s permit.
The position is a full-time, commissioned role that includes phone and milage reimbursement along with access to an IRA (with 3% matching) and health benefits after 60 days.
