Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic P/T Tasting Room Sales Associate to join our small family winery in St Helena on Highway 29. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about wine, have an extensive knowledge of Napa history, and excel in providing outstanding customer service. Our winery is committed to creating unforgettable visitor experiences, where you will be at the forefront of our hospitality efforts. This position would be for 1 – 2 days per week, with Saturday availability required.
Responsibilities:
-Independently host private tasting experiences that showcase the quality of our wines, the legacy of Corison, and the warmth of our hospitality.
-Drive DTC sales, including wine club memberships, by leveraging your proven track record of sales, passion for wine and natural customer engagement skills.
-Ensure operational excellence by setting up and breaking down for tastings, managing inventory, keeping all areas clean, and assisting with events.
-Collaborate with colleagues to create genuine brand loyalty among guests and support a culture of teamwork, excellence, and fun.
Qualifications:
-Experience in hospitality, sales, or a related field, ideally within a tasting room, restaurant, or luxury retail environment where you have demonstrated a proven track record of success.
-A genuine passion for wine, accompanied by a strong desire to continuously expand your knowledge about the wine industry, with a particular focus on Napa Valley Cabernets.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
-Knowledge of vineyard practices and the history of Napa Valley a plus!
-Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
