Job Description:

Korbel Champagne Cellars, located in the picturesque Russian River Valley, has been a California Champagne producer in Sonoma County since 1882. With thousands of tourists visiting every year, our winery is nothing short of beautiful. The Production Department is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Administrator with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to support our bottling and cellar operations. This is a hands-on, administrative role essential to ensuring accurate inventory, production records, and material flow within the department. This position works under the direction of the Production Manager and collaborates closely with production, planning, purchasing, and accounting teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Production & Inventory Administration - Receive all production materials into the inventory system; issue materials to finished goods and receive finished goods into the system. Maintain and monitor packaging and finished goods inventory databases. Process inventory adjustments and reconcile physical inventory monthly and annually (e.g., tirage and packaging materials). Coordinate inventory part numbers and descriptions; maintain supply database for packaging materials.
•  Work Order & Schedule Management - Create and maintain weekly production schedules and work orders. Enter and process bottling and unlabeled work orders. Audit production work orders daily for accuracy and completion. Prepare production requisitions and obtain necessary approvals.
•  Cross-Functional Coordination - Work directly with the Production Supervisor to ensure material issues and finished goods receipts are accurate. Collaborate with the Production Manager to troubleshoot inventory or material discrepancies. Partner with Purchasing, Planning, and Accounts Payable to resolve transactional issues and maintain accurate records. Provide input on consumable material needs (e.g., glue, stretch wrap).
•  Other Responsibilities - Support office and production-related projects as assigned. Perform other duties as required to assist the Production team and maintain workflow efficiency.

A high school diploma or GED is required; college coursework in business, inventory management, or computer applications is preferred. Requires 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams is essential, along with ERP system experience (Oracle preferred). Must demonstrate accuracy in data entry, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. The role involves extended computer use and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. Hourly range: $22.12–$29.88, depending on experience.
