We are seeking a customer centric Service Representative to support the growth and success of our Packaging product line within the Scott Laboratories portfolio.
Job Description
The Customer Service Representative – Packaging is responsible for managing order entry, tracking, and fulfillment activities within the packaging department. This role serves as a key administrative liaison between internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure packaging orders and projects are processed accurately and delivered on time.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities:
• Process all packaging sales orders, quotes, and sample requests, including cork and custom packaging items
• Communicate closely with vendors throughout the lifecycle of custom packaging projects
• Coordinate with internal departments (Accounting, Production, Shipping/Receiving, Inventory) to support accurate and timely order fulfillment
• Process returns, create credit requests, and coordinate with inventory on returned items
• Support cork reconditioning and buyback processes
• Respond to packaging-related inquiries from customers and team members
• Assist in inventory tracking and reconciliation processes
• Pull samples and process will-call sample requests in ERP system
• Ensure timely, accurate recordkeeping and document management for all transactions and communications
Key Qualifications:
• Prior experience in order processing, fulfillment, or administrative support preferred
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics BC (or similar ERP system) a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience or interest in the wine or beverage packaging industry a plus
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Salary Range - $69K - $80K (DOE) Hybrid, Petaluma, CA
