Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. is in search of a Retail Sales Advisor to join our growing Retail Team. HDH Retail is the most trusted and innovative resource in the fine wine industry. Our Retail Sales Team is passionate about fine wine and works with clients worldwide on an individual basis to ensure they are up-to-date on new releases, have expert advice on market trends, and have access to highly allocated wines.

Position Overview:
The Retail Sales Advisor will work with high-profile clients where professionalism and readiness to go the extra mile are paramount. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
•  Generate sales to help meet HDH's retail sales objectives and goals
•  Create and maintain client relationships through exceptional customer service and wine consultation
•  Create and pursue sales leads with prospective customers
•  Use proprietary HDH databases to create and pursue retail sales leads with existing customers (both auction and retail)
•  Customer development and entertainment
•  Create content for sales offers and send targeted sales emails
•  Answer inbound sales call and emails
•  Collaborate with the Buying Team on purchasing opportunities and purchasing needs
•  Collaborate with the Auction team on potential auction consignment leads
•  Work with the Chief Sale Officer on various assignments, projects, and tasks

Position Requirements and Preferences:
•  Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook required
•  Basic understanding of database functionality preferred but not required
•  Experience with Netsuite preferred but not required
•  Strong wine knowledge across all major wine regions required; professional certifications (i.e. WSET, CSW, Court of Master Sommeliers) preferred but not required
•  Minimum of 3 years in the Wine and Spirits industry required with a strong preference for client-facing roles
•  Ability to travel for company-sponsored events and client meetings required
•  US residency and work authorization required
•  Consent to a criminal background check prior to start of employment required
