ABOUT THE ROLE

As a full-time Tasting Room & Hospitality Associate, you’ll play a key role in sharing our story, engaging with visitors, and ensuring every guest feels right at home. This non-exempt, full-time position supports the Tasting Room Manager and the Grove team in all aspects of daily operations and guest hospitality.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

•  Host and serve guests in our thoughtfully curated indoor and outdoor tasting salon
•  Help execute experiences, tours, and special events with care and precision
•  Support team goals and help drive tasting room and retail sales
•  Provide warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service to all visitors
•  Educate guests on our products, including flavor profiles, pairings, and stories
•  Learn and respond to customer needs with thoughtfulness and professionalism
•  Assist with visual merchandising, restocking, and keeping the space clean and welcoming
•  Use reservation and POS systems (e.g., Tock, Commerce7) for guest check-in and purchases
•  Handle email and phone communication with guests and club members
•  Assist with wine club outreach, signups, and retention
•  Pack and ship orders from both the Tasting Room, eCommerce, and Corporate channels
•  Participate in inventory tracking and weekly team meetings
•  Occasionally support off-site events and promotions
•  Please note: This position is currently scheduled for Tuesday–Saturday. Fridays and Saturdays are mandatory, but the remaining three days can be adjusted if needed by the applicant.


WHO YOU ARE

Minimum Qualifications:

•  High school diploma or GED required
•  1–2 years of experience in a retail, hospitality, food, or wine-related role
•  Comfortable with basic office and retail equipment (phone, register, computer, etc.)
•  Tech-savvy and willing to learn reservation and POS systems (Tock, Commerce7, Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
•  Must be at least 21 years old

•  Friendly, welcoming, and passionate about exceptional guest service
•  Strong verbal and written communication skills
•  Detail-oriented with excellent time management
•  Able to take initiative, work independently, and thrive in a team environment
•  Comfortable lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs
•  Motivated by sales with a desire to grow in the food and wine industry
•  RBS and Food Handler certifications (can be completed with company support)
