Tasting Room Lead/Manager
-$20–25/hr + wine club bonuses + tips
-Full-time | 5 days/week, including weekends & holidays

Piazza Family Wines is a family-owned winery rooted in Santa Barbara County, with two estate vineyards—Bella Vista in Ballard Canyon and Mt. Carmel in Sta. Rita Hills. We focus on minimal intervention winemaking and organic farming, producing small-lot wines that express place and vintage with intention and care.

We're opening our first tasting room in Los Olivos and are seeking a passionate, reliable, and engaging Tasting Room Lead/Manager to help build and run our guest experience from the ground up. This is a full-time opportunity to grow with our team and play a key role in the public face of our brand.

What we're looking for:
-A warm and confident host who loves sharing wine and creating memorable experiences
-A team player with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
-Someone excited by sales, wine club building, and connection
-A self-starter with the ability to manage busy weekends and lead the team by example

This position will:
-Work closely with the General Manager to run daily tasting room operations
-Lead weekend and holiday shifts; flexibility is key
-Greet and host guests with professionalism, warmth, and product knowledge
-Drive wine sales and wine club signups through storytelling and authentic hospitality
-Accurately process orders using Vinoshipper POS
-Keep the tasting room space organized, clean, and inviting
-Assist with events, private tastings, and off-site promotions
-Help manage inventory, shipping, restocking, and general operations
-Occasionally assist with marketing and social media content
-Uphold safety, cleanliness, and all compliance standards

Requirements:
-Previous customer service or hospitality experience
-Wine knowledge preferred, but curiosity and willingness to learn are essential
-Sales-minded with a positive, proactive attitude
-Strong computer literacy; experience with Vinoshipper or similar POS is a plus
-Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
-Must be 21+
-Must be available most weekends and holidays

Compensation:
-$20–25/hour based on experience
-Plus tips, wine club commissions, sick pay, and employee discounts
