Join Our Tasting Room Team at Pedroncelli Winery!

Location: We are in the beautiful Dry Creek Valley, just outside the town of Geyserville.

Are you passionate about wine and customer service? Do you want to work in a stunning setting surrounded by lush vineyards and rich history? At Pedroncelli Winery, we are looking for a Tasting Room Assistant to join our dynamic team and provide our guests with unforgettable experiences!

What You'll Do

As a vital part of our tasting room team, you will:
•  Create Memorable Experiences: Share the fascinating history of the Pedroncelli family and our exceptional wines through engaging tastings filled with warm hospitality.
•  Daily Operations: Assist with all aspects of the tasting room, from opening and closing procedures to managing retail sales and processing orders seamlessly.
•  Wine Ambassador: Educate our guests on our unique wines and winemaking practices, creating a deeper appreciation for every sip.
•  Team Collaboration: Work closely with the tasting room lead to manage reservations and walk-ins effectively while focusing on converting guests into club members.
•  Maintain Excellence: Keep our tasting room beautifully clean and inviting, ensuring a pleasant environment for both customers and employees.
•  Event Support: Help organize and execute our fun winery events, showcasing our wines to the community.
•  Build Relationships: Engage with visitors and establish connections with local wineries, boosting traffic to our tasting room.
•  Sales Outreach: Reach out to previous guests and club members to promote specials and enhance their experience with our wines.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:
•  High school diploma; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a bonus.
•  At least 2 years of experience in tasting room or hospitality settings.
•  Strong computer skills; experience with wine industry software is a plus.
•  Able to learn and use the Commerce 7 POS platform efficiently.
•  Must be 21+ and able to obtain responsible beverage service certification from ABC.
•  Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

•  Detail-oriented and accurate with numbers.

•  Positive attitude, adaptable to a dynamic environment, and a team player.

Compensation & Benefits
•  Part-Time Position: 1-3 days per week, with availability required on Saturdays and Sundays.
•  Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, plus tips, commissions and wine and merchandise discounts.
