Job Title: Senior Wine Club Manager
Location: Winery near downtown Sonoma + Mountaintop Estate
Reports To: Founders / CEO
Employment Type: Full-Time (onsite)
Compensation: $80,000 - $125,000 (base + bonus, depending on experience)

Founded by wife & husband duo, Sophie & James, we’re a proudly woman-owned, organic, and first-generation wine company crafting low-intervention wines with purpose and soul. We are looking for a Sr. Wine Club Manager who is both strategic and hands-on, reporting directly to the founders, and ready to lead across customer service, hospitality, inventory, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Wine Club Management:
•  Lead daily wine club operations, ensuring seamless member service and communications.
•  Develop strategies to recruit, retain, and grow member lifetime value.
•  Use member insights to tailor offerings and enhance satisfaction.
•  Manage wine shipments and ensure regulatory compliance.
•  Organize exclusive events and promotions.
•  Coordinate with customer service and marketing to ensure alignment and messaging.

Hospitality & Guest Experience:
•  Curate and manage elevated guest experiences for club members, VIPs, and influencers, with personalized, on-brand hospitality.
•  Train staff to deliver exceptional service, aligned with brand values.
•  Collect and respond to guest feedback for continuous improvement.

Inventory & Logistics:
•  Track wine inventory from production to delivery with minimal waste.
•  Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and shipping partners.
•  Oversee fulfillment systems to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
•  Support internal migration of shipping from a 3rd party warehouse to in-house fulfillment.
•  Pull member orders, prepare shipment details, and oversee delivery execution.
•  Maintain shipping calendars, tracking numbers, and proactive communication.
•  Manage weather delays, returns, and reshipments with customer care.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
•  Work with marketing on wine club-focused content and campaigns.
•  Collaborate with the CEO/Creative Director on member experience innovation.
•  Partner with ops to optimize logistics and improve the member journey.
•  Contribute strategic insights to inform overall business planning.

Admin & Reporting:
•  Maintain accurate member records and database hygiene.
•  Prepare reports on club performance, trends, inventory, and events.
•  Oversee budgets for wine club, hospitality, and logistics.
•  Ensure compliance with alcohol regulations (with 3rd party support as needed).

Qualifications:
You’re a proactive self-starter who thrives on quality, connection, and detail.
You are / have:
•  Experience in customer service, hospitality, and wine club management
•  A leader or rising star in the wine industry
•  Passionate about wine, storytelling, and connecting with people
•  A warm, engaging presence with excellent communication skills
•  Strong organizational and analytical abilities
•  Proficiency in Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets, and industry software (e.g., Commerce7)
•  Able to lift 45 pounds and hold a valid driver’s license
•  Experience managing events, inventory, and logistics
•  Excited to grow with a values-driven, fast-moving brand
