The successful candidate will provide financial leadership and guidance to the organization, ensuring that appropriate financial processes, systems, and controls (in compliance with federal and state regulations and Company policies) are in place. They will interact closely with production to ensure that the inventory costing is working effectively and accurately. There tasks will be maintained with a high level of organization, confidentiality, and timeliness.

Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following responsibilities:
•  The controller will be responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate monthly financial statements.
•  Accountable for the review of monthly/quarterly/annual reporting packages in compliance with GAAP
•  Create and manage forecasted cash flow
•  Create and maintain the financial consolidation with multiple entities
•  Oversee all accounting reconciliations and ensure accuracy
•  Prepare select CA/TTB tax reporting/compliance, manage outside compliance consultants
•  Manage and motivate a team of accounting professionals.
•  Responsible for bank reporting and compliance
•  Implement and maintain processes to improve strong internal control
•  Develop, interpret and analyze complex financial information
•  Make recommendations regarding profitability and improvement strategies.
•  Direct the annual financial statement review and tax prep
•  Take on additional projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•  Experience with Net Suite preferred
•  5-7 years accounting experience preferred
•  Strong analytical skills, problem resolution, and an exceptional understanding of GAAP
•  Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent experience
•  Sharp attention to detail with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
•  Focused individual with strong planning, multi-tasking and organizational skills
•  Able to work in a team environment as well as operate independently
•  Ability to work with confidential information
•  High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
•  Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. and sitting at a desk/personal computer for extended periods.
