We are looking for a Tasting Room Concierge to join our team at Viansa Winery!
Position Overview:
The Tasting Room Concierge is a professional, attentive individual responsible for creating an exceptional first impression. This position oversees guest arrival through departure, handling bookings, offering guidance on available experiences, and assisting team members in providing top-tier service.
Key Responsibilities:
Serving as the first point of contact, the Tasting Room Concierge will warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins for tastings and tours, and ensure a smooth guest flow. This role requires excellent communication skills to answer inquiries, provide details about our wine offerings and membership options, and coordinate seating with the tasting room team. The Concierge will also play a key role in personalizing guest visits by accommodating special requests and offering personalized suggestions to elevate the overall experience.
Beyond providing gracious guest service, this role upholds the overall presentation and
efficiency of the concierge area. The Concierge supports seamless communication by
managing phone and email inquiries and collaborates with the tasting room team to ensure
every detail of the guest journey is thoughtfully executed.
Additional tasks include:
- Manage and update reservations to reflect real-time availability and guest needs.
- Maintain a pristine and welcoming entryway and concierge station, reflecting the winery’s commitment to excellence.
- Discretely monitor guest facilities, ensuring restrooms remain clean, well-stocked, and presentable throughout the day.
- Assist with the coordination of special events and private tastings by preparing for guest arrivals and supporting logistics.
Qualifications & Skills:
Core Competencies:

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
-Comfortable managing reservations systems and responding to phone and email inquiries with accuracy and courtesy
- Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Tech-savvy with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation platforms (experience with systems like Tock, WineDirect, or similar is advantageous)
- 2+ years in a hospitality, customer service, or guest-facing role; luxury or winery experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of wine is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential

Physical Requirements:
- The role requires standing and walking for extended periods.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, type, and communicate clearly.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Working Conditions:
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
- The Tasting Room Concierge will primarily be stationed at the entrance and concierge desk but will frequently interact with guests and team members throughout the property, requiring both indoor and outdoor activities.
