About the Role

The Sales Coordinator Role is a sales support role, 100% administrative in nature, and works remotely. The Sales Coordinator Role is critical as the main liaison between our company and the sales teams of our winery partners as well as a key point of contact for assistance with our national wine buyers.

As this key point of contact you will collaborate with regional sales teams, and our national account buyers to ensure the flawless execution of our national wine programs. Your ability to build strong relationships, will be instrumental in delivering outstanding results for our incredible customers and our award-winning portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Prepares and processes all program announcements to all business stakeholders within required deadlines.
•  Coordinate and maintain accurate and current database of state-by state pricing on all skus.
•  Manage, update and communicate database programs, price book, intranet supplier & distributor contact files and national average pricing.
•  Investigate and resolve pricing and out of stock discrepancies with suppliers and distributors in a timely fashion.
•  Communicate and process marketing support details to supplier partners and marketing company channels ensuring bills are paid in a timely fashion.
•  Process sample requests from suppliers to customers as requested by sales, meeting all deadlines, and tracking packages to their destination.
•  Manage, update, and communicate vintage changes.
•  Manage, update, and communicate internal company contact reports and account assignments.
•  Maintaining accurate contacts in Salesforce and update to date record keeping on the intranet.
•  Act as a primary customer resource for calls, e-mails, and voice mails in the sales office.
•  Weekly and monthly reports, data entry, and any other sales support

About you:
* 5+ years of experience in similar role within the wine industry.
* Experience in a similar role within the On-Premise channel at the distributor level will be considered a plus.
* Fluent in the language of wine business - varietals, regions, appellations, bottle sizes, etc.
* Highly skilled in handling multiple priorities simultaneously, multi-tasking skills are essential and the desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
* Experience owning your own business, experience working in a small business will lend itself to fitting into our entrepreneurial culture.
* Ability to work independently and without supervision, working remotely but also playing a critical role within a small team.
* Must have the ability to establish a sound remote work environment with your own high-speed internet.
* Must possess advanced computer skills – the most common applications and software used are Excel, Adobe (pdf), salesforce.com, G Suite, Trello, experience in these is a big plus.
* Wine education gained through Society of Wine Educators, Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine and Sprits Education Trust or other wine educational courses of institutions considered a plus.
* Must demonstrate impeccable writing and communication skills.

This role is open to all time zones, however candidates located in Central and Mountain time zones would be a plus.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $50,000 to $65,000 These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, and education. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work remotely. The Mark Wine Group reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
