About the role

Focusing on harvest season, this role works in conjunction with site winemaking focusing on coordinating harvest activities, fermentation and inventory monitoring, analysis review, and cellar workflow. This role ensures production excellence through data-driven decisions, inventory accuracy, and effective communication across multiple departments and winery locations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. From a winemaking and work order perspective, manage an assigned harvest activity (receiving, racking, pumpovers, etc.)
2. Coordinate fermentation tastings for selected brand; execute work orders based on actions determined in tasting
3. Monitor both ferments and bulk wine inventory then ensure activities such as pressing, topping, SO₂ additions, and storage conditions meet winemaking specifications.
4. Write and oversee cellar work orders in Grower / Blend system.
5. Assist with blend planning, scheduling, and execution in coordination with winemakers.
6. Prepare and support bench trials for fining, acid adjustment, and tannin additions.
7. Maintain communication with the lab team to ensure data accuracy and relevance
8. Coordinate and participate in grading sessions post-harvest
9. Maintain a safe, compliant, and positive working environment in accordance with TWE standards
10. Participate in safety-related activities and training.

About you

Individuals should possess a minimum of 1 -3 years of winery or winemaking related experience, preferably in premium/luxury environments. Job requirements and preferred qualifications include:
* Degree in Enology or related science; or equivalent combination of related science degree and experience considered
* Familiarity with inventory systems (WIM, InnoVint, or equivalent).
* Experience with lab analysis, blend prep, and trial coordination.
* Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
* Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting technical data.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Advanced Excel skills; ability to work with shared data platforms and systems.
* Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $78,000 to $82,000 per year. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of St Helena, CA area. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
