What You’ll Do:
•  Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm
•  ? Educate and sell wine
•  ? Assist with seating, flow, and keeping the vibes high
•  ? Work alongside a fun, friendly team in a beautiful tasting room setting in the heart of Yountville.

Job Description:

The Wine Educator greets and hosts visitors to a variety tasting experiences with the goals of providing excellent hospitality, educating guests about the wine, brand, selling wine, and converting guests to wine club members. We offer tasting experiences that include walk-in tastings hosted in the Tasting Hall and Courtyard and private seated tastings hosted in the NOMAD library. The Tasting Hall is open daily from 11am-6pm.

Qualifications:

•  Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
•  Demonstrated experience in fine wine sales and wine club conversion
•  Able to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize responsibilities
•  Knowledge of fine wines, wine-making, viticulture techniques, and the Napa/Sonoma wine regions
•  Comfortable with public speaking and hosting groups of all sizes
•  Must be at least 21 years old
•  Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours



Skills:
•  Outgoing, personable, detail-oriented, and highly organized
•  Highly professional in all interpersonal and customer communications
•  Excellent attention to detail and ability to anticipate customer needs and respond appropriately
•  Ability and willingness to up-sell and to perform multiple tasks while remaining focused and organized


Compensation:

•  Competitive hourly rate plus tips and sales and wine club commissions
