Established in 2010 in the Bay Area, Sake Tengoku is proud to represent a curated portfolio of traditional, small-production, family-owned Japanese breweries.
We are currently seeking experienced wine sales professionals to expand our reach in Los Angeles County, Orange County, and Santa Barbara. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to enhance their current offerings with a premium sake portfolio.
Position Overview
As a Sales Representative, you will:
• Manage and grow your existing account base within your designated territory
• Build and maintain strong relationships with on-premise and off-premise buyers
• Coordinate tastings, schedule buyer meetings, and introduce clients to our unique sake offerings
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for professionals who:
• Have wine sales experience and established buyer/account relationships
• Possess basic sake knowledge (certifications such as WSET, SEC, SSA are a plus)
• Are able to identify and cultivate new sales opportunities
• Exhibit a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
This role is ideal for independent reps seeking to add a distinctive and culturally rich portfolio to their sales offerings.
Training & Support
We provide onboarding support, including product education and tasting experiences to help you represent our brands with confidence and enthusiasm.
Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is based on a generous 15% commission structure.
