OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Site Manager to oversee all operations in our wine storage and distribution facility in Baldwin Park. This key role will ensure efficient, safe, and compliant execution of inbound and outbound product movements. The Site Manager will lead and collaborate with transportation, warehouse, and office teams to ensure optimal customer service, streamlined processes, and accurate inventory management. This position is Monday through Friday.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
• Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, distribution, and order processing teams.
• Develop and execute job-specific training programs for all employees, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed.
• Ensure compliance with employee hours of service regulations, including monitoring shifts and ensuring sufficient rest periods.
• Partner with HR to ensure adequate staffing levels across transportation, warehouse, and office teams.
• Ensure operating procedures are followed consistently in the distribution and warehouse areas, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
• Implement and enforce policies and procedures for the smooth inbound and outbound movement of products.
• Keep systems operational and maintained to prevent any disruptions to warehouse and distribution functions.
• Work closely with the inventory management team to ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory levels.
• Monitor and manage the proper upkeep of all warehouse equipment and facility infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Prepare regular reports on operational efficiency, inventory status, employee performance, and other relevant factors.
• Recommend and implement improvements to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
EDUCATION:
• Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics management.
• Strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage multiple teams and oversee complex operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and collaborate with various teams.
• Prior experience working with wine storage and distribution operations preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and operational best practices in a warehouse setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
