JOB SUMMARY: The Artisan Lodges Sales Associate & Club Concierge is responsible for meeting or exceeding the yearly, quarterly and monthly sales goals as set by the Artisan Lodges Operations Manager. This position will also be responsible for working on-site at events as needed.

The Artisan Lodges Sales Associate & Club Concierge will work independently to plan and execute their sales strategy in order to meet or exceed all sales goals as well as support member retention, hospitality and lodging sales. He or she will identify sales opportunities from historical customer sales data, as well as generate new leads and build strong customer relationships. Will perform other duties as assigned.
Lodging/Hospitality Sales & Wine Club Retention (Approximately 40%)
• Work through member lists to contact and remind members about all of the benefits and discounts available to them;
• Sell lodging stays and experiences;
• Work with lodging and marketing team to establish offers for lodging specifically tailored to our wine club members;
• Help coordinate custom experiences including tastings and stays to members wanting to visit;
• Build relationships with members in point of life cycle where they are vulnerable to club exit;
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lodging offerings, rates, and availability to effectively communicate with guests and secure bookings;
• Understand customers’ needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by Artisan Lodges and Wilson Artisan Wineries;
• Design custom experiences for guests at the Wilson Artisan Wineries and Artisan Lodges brands to include, but not limited to, hosting lunches, specialty tastings at Artisan Lodges properties, guest houses or vineyard locations, small events or retreats for guests, etc.
• Acquire extensive knowledge of the Wilson Artisan Wineries venues and guest houses to make the most suitable recommendations for guests.
Direct Phone Sales (Approximately 40%)
• Call customers from winery databases and lists provided by Artisan Lodges and winery teams to offer lodging specials;
• Answer incoming calls in a professional and timely manner;
• Sell additional product by recognizing opportunities to up-sell accounts;
• Create strategic plans to maximize sales opportunities with a focus on booking club members into Artisan Lodges properties.
Direct Email Sales (Approximately 20%)
• Mine customer data to identify specific opportunities for selling lodging;
• Develop group sales emails in conjunction with the Artisan Lodges Operations Manager promoting specific lodging offers;
• Respond in a professional and timely manner to all emails.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be at least 21 years of age;
• Current Responsible Beverage Server certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire;
• Must possess a minimum of one year of a proven, successful track record of telephone and email sales results;
• Able to set and achieve sales goals;
• Self-directed-able to work independently as well as part of a cohesive and driven team;
• Able to meet or exceed sales goals;
• Strong time management with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities;
• Excellent follow-up and follow through skills;
• Able to create and execute sales campaigns;
• Exceptional communication skills-both verbal and written;
• Able to provide excellent customer service at all times;
• Able to positively represent Wilson Artisan Wineries and Artisan Lodges at events;
• Able to work weekends and events as needed;
• Highly organized and detail oriented;
• Able to proactively ask for and close sales;
• Able to travel to Wilson Artisan Wineries and Artisan Lodges locations and off-site events;
• Valid CA driver’s license, acceptable DMV record, and a reliable, insured vehicle.
