Central Regional Market Manager

Job Description:

King Estate Winery, a leader in Oregon’s wine industry, is actively recruiting for an experienced and driven Central Regional Market Manager to expand market distribution and provide ongoing support to our distributors and accounts throughout the Central Region. This position is primarily based in Texas and requires regular travel within the state, as well as periodic travel to other states in the region. The RMM will play a key role in executing sales strategies, strengthening relationships with distributors and key accounts, and representing King Estate at industry events, wine dinners, and tastings.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development & Distribution:
•  Expand King Estate’s presence across the Central Region by managing distributor relationships and supporting sales initiatives.
•  Identify new opportunities for market penetration and sales growth.
•  Conduct ongoing account visits, distributor work-withs, and retail/restaurant sales support.


Account Management & Sales Support:
•  Provide training, education, and support to distributors and key accounts to drive brand awareness and sales.
•  Partner with distributor sales teams to enhance product visibility and placement.
•  Track and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.


Event Representation & Brand Promotion:
•  Represent King Estate at industry events, wine dinners, tastings and promotional activities.
•  Develop and execute events in collaboration with distributors and key accounts.
•  Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent messaging and brand standards.


Travel Requirements:
•  The RDM will be based in Texas and focus year-round efforts within the state.
•  Travel to the following states is required a minimum of once per year for distributor work-withs, events, and market development activities:
o Oklahoma
o Louisiana
o Arkansas
o Colorado
o Kansas
o Missouri
o Illinois
o Wisconsin
o Minnesota


Required Qualifications & Skills
•  3+ years of experience in wine sales, distributor management, or related field.
•  Strong knowledge of the wine industry, sales strategies, and market trends.
•  Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with distributors and key accounts.
•  Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
•  Ability to work independently and travel as needed.
•  Passion for wine and the ability to educate others about King Estate’s portfolio.
